All of these are Class 3 2" by 2" receiver hitches. Up top we have the etrailer.com hitch. Then we have our CURT hitch. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Dodge Journey - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2009 Dodge Journey, we'll be installing Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 75648. Now before we begin our installation, here's what your hitch will look like on the vehicle. We'll go ahead and give you a few measurements to help you in selecting accessories such as the drawbar, bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper is 1 inch and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13-1/2 inches. Now to begin our installation, we'll need to lower the exhaust. We're going to go ahead and use a strap here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Dodge Journey - Curt- Video
Today on our 2009 Dodge Journey, we'll be installing Curt Hitch, part number 12335. Now before we begin our installation, here is what your hitch will look like on the vehicle. We'll go ahead and give you a few measurements to help you in selecting accessories such as the drawbar, bicycle rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper is 2-1/2 inches and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13 inches. Now to begin our installation, we'll need to lower the exhaust, we're going to go ahead and use a strap here. It's a good idea to hold your exhaust up when you're removing these isolators to prevent it from falling down and damaging it. more

Today on this 2009 Dodge Journey, were going to install Hidden Hitch part number 87487. This will be comparable to the Draw-Tite Hitch part number 75648. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 1-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13-3/4 inches. Now, lets go ahead with the installation. more
