Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. Now what I like about this hitch is that for the most part it's going to be completely hidden. You're only going to see the receiver tube opening, maintaining that clean factory look, but at the same time it's still going to be open enough and make it easy to use. Another thing I like about the hitch is that it's going to give us good clearance. The end of our receiver tube, it's going to sit just right behind edge of our bumper. more

Best 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. Up top here we're going to have our etrailer has, which is going to be a Class 3. Right below that we'll have our Draw-Tite that's also a Class 3. Then finally at the bottom we'll have our CURT, again a Class 3 hitch. Since all of our hitches are going to be a Class 3 hitch, they're all going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening and have a lot of different accessories available that we can mount in them, all the way from a ball mount, a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier.Regardless if you're towing and you're using a ball mount or you're just using it for a bike rack, all of the accessories going into each one of our hitches is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip to secure them. However, the Draw-Tite you'll notice there is going to be a secondary hole towards the opening on our receiver. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan - Curt- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan we're a going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt custom fit class 2 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is C12264. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You can see our main cross tube runs from frame to frame here, almost completely hidden, you would never actually be able to see it standing behind the vehicle, you would have to kneel down a little bit so that's nice. What we're left with is just going to be the receiver tube, comes out here to our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. A flush reinforcement collar around the end there cleans it up, see it's tucked in behind the bumper. Now in installing it, you can see, it's going to push up just slightly here on the rear bumper. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be talking a look at and installing the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part number 90169. Here's what our Class II receiver is going to look like once it's installed on the back on the vehicle. It's going to have that nice sleek stylish design. It's going to be tucked up underneath the back end to be aesthetically pleasing. All that's going to be visible is that 1" by 1" receiver tube and our chain tie downs. That chain tie down is going to be rolled steel to add extra strength. It's going to have a 300lb tongue weight capacity, and a 3,5000lb towing capacity. more

Speaker 2: Today on our two thousand sixteen Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number eight seven four five one. Here's what our Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver is going to look like. It's going to have a real nice tucked up and sleek look on the back end of our vehicle. Offering that black powder coat finish That's going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion, and the only thing that's going to really be visible, is going to be that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and the rolled steel chain tie downs. Now a couple of nice features about this receiver hitch, is that it's going to have the J pin stabilization hole, which will be a half inch pin hole directly in front of that five eighths inch pin hole for all your accessories. Now the two inch by two inch receiver tube is going to offer a four hundred pound tongue weight capacity, and four thousand pound towing capacity. With weight distribution it's going to go up to five hundred pounds tongue weight capacity, and five thousand pounds towing capacity. Make sure that you always check with you manufacturer specifications on your weight and hauling capacity. Now we'll go ahead and get you a few measurements to help you in selecting hitch accessories for you new receiver hitch such as ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground, it's going to be about twelve and seven eighths inches. more

Here's what our class 3 trailer hitch receiver is going to look like. It's going to have a real nice tucked up and sleek look on the back end of our vehicle offering that black powder coat finish that's going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion and the only thing that's going to be really visible is going to be that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and the rold steel chain tie downs. Now, a couple of nice features of this receiver hitch is that it's going to have the J pin stabilization hole, which will be a 1/2 inch pinhole directly in front of that 5/8 inch pinhole for all your accessories. Now the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube is going to offer a 400 pound tongue weight capacity and 4,000 pound towing capacity. Today, on our 2016 Dodge Caravan, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13364. Here is what our Curt Custom Fit Trailer Hitch is going to look like once it's installed on our vehicle. It's going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening coming out the back, it's going to be nice and tucked up against the bottom side of the bumper. Having that nice rolled steel, chain tie downs, and having only the receiver tube visible from the backside, giving it a real nice slick and stylish look. With its heavy-duty black powder coat finish, is going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. Having a 5/8 inch pinhole straight through the side, that's going to allow you to attach all your two inch receiver accessories. This receiver hitch is also going to have a fully welded design, with a max tongue weight of 400 pounds, and max towing capacity of 4,000 pounds. That's going to go up slightly with weight distribution, up to 500 pounds of tongue weight, and 5,000 pounds max towing capacity with that weight distribution set up. more
