Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Dodge Durango - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango we'll be reviewing and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number 75162. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. Our hitch is a really nice compact design, full steel welded construction. It's got a nice black powder-coated finish. The only thing we really have hanging down here is our chain hold downs on each side, the two pre-drilled holes that are in our receiver tube, the 5/8 pinhole, and the 1/2" pre-drilled lock holes. Hitch itself is a class three 2" by 2" receiver tube hitch that is capable of up to 600 pounds of tongue weight and a 6,000 pound tow capacity. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. more

Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango we're going to review and install Hidden Hitch class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number 87562. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango, we'll be test fitting Curt hitch, part number 13072. Now before we begin our installation, here are a few measurements to help you in selecting accessories, such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper looks about even, and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground measures 21". Now lets go ahead with our install. Now to begin our installation, we'll need to remove the spare tire from the vehicle. Once we've done that, we'll now place our hitch into position here on the rear bumper. more

Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango, well be installing Curt Hitch part number 13296. Now, before we begin our installation here are a few measurements to help you when selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to outer most part of the bumper looks about even and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground measures 21 inches.Now, lets go ahead with our install. To begin our installation well go ahead and remove the spare tire from the vehicle. With our spare tire out of the way, underneath the vehicle here we will point out our attachment points. On the driver side we will be using these two bolts here which are connected together as well as this bolt here forward of those two. more
