Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Dodge Charger- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Dodge Charger, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 76145. Here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. Now, it is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. That's the main thing we're really going to see. The cross tube is going to stick out just below the bumper, but because of the angle of the bumper, I really don't think you're going to be able to see too much of it. And, with the black plastic, it is going to blend in nicely. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2014 Dodge Charger. Here we're going to have our Draw-Tite Class 3. Right below that we're going to have our CURT Class 3. Now right off the bat our hitches do look very similar, but there is some big differences to them. For instance, the small difference that we can notice right away is that collar. The Draw-Tite is going to have more of a tapered, rounded look to it, whereas the CURT is going to have more of a flush cut look. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Dodge Charger - Curt- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Charger, we're going to install our Curt trailer hitch receiver custom fit class 3, part number C13093. On our class 3 hitch we have here, the tongue weight, that's the downward force you can put on it, it's 350 pounds. Our trailer weight, that's what's being dragged behind your vehicle trailer and whatever is included on the trailer, that's 3,500 pounds. From the center of your pinhole here to the outermost part of our bumper, that's going to be right about 7 inches, and from the top of our receiver hole here to the ground, we're going to have about 9 inches clearance. That should help you pick whatever accessories you may want to purchase, so our first step is to remove our hanger mounts. We've got a 13 millimeter bolt on each side and we also have one further back. Our next step is we have 2 spring loaded screws on our muffler. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Charger, we're installing our Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Custom Fit Class II, Part Number C12064,. Our weight capacities on this, our downward force, our tongue weight, is going to be 350 pounds. Our max tow capacity, that's trailer and everything on the trailer is 3,500 pounds. From the center of our hitch pin to the outer most edge of our bumper, that's going to be 7-1/2 inches. From the top of our receiver tube opening to the ground level, that's going to be 9-3/4 inches. That should help you pick whatever accessories you may want to purchase. Our first step is to remove our hanger mounts. more
