Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer, today we're gonna be checking out our best trailer hitch options for your 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. So today we're gonna be looking at three different hitches, up top here we have the etrailer.com, below it we have the CURT and right here, we have the Draw Tite. I'm not gonna lie, this video is gonna be pretty short and sweet, and that's because the hitches share a lot of similarities. There's not a whole lot of differences about 'em other than a couple that, that I can come up with and that's really gonna have to do with the appearance of it, more specifically the finish of the powder coat and bumper clearance. So how much clearance you're gonna have relative to your back bumper. Now, if I had to choose one of these for my own vehicle I'd probably lean towards the etrailer one. more

etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country- Video

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the eTrailer Class Three Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed on our Town and Country. The cross tube's going to be hidden behind the fascia and all we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out below the bumper.It's a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a lot of different options when it comes to accessories that we can mount up. And the way we're going to mount all of our accessories, is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. The hitch is going to use a standard five ace pin and clip. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country - Curt- Video

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we'll be installing the CURT class three hitch, part number 13364. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. You'll note that it's got a nice square sturdy steel tube construction that will come with a limited lifetime warranty. Our hitch is made in the USA and is a class three hitch, which allows us to have up to 400 pounds of tongue weight and 4,000 pounds of towing weight, unless you add a weight distribution hitch and we'll have up to 500 pounds in tongue weight and 5,000 pounds of towing capability. The 2 by 2" receiver tube with a pre-drilled 5/8 pinhole. Additionally we have the chain hold down which is all you really get to see is the receiver tube and chain hold down, as everything else is nicely hidden behind the rear bumper. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country - Curt c12264- Video

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we'll be installing the CURT 1-1/4" receiver tube hitch, part number C12264. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. We've got a square crosstube for a nice sturdy steel construction and it comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It's made in the USA and it's a class 2" hitch, which means it's capable of carrying 350 pounds of tongue weight with 3,500 pounds of towing weight. Here we have our 1-1/4" receiver tube, 1/2" pre-drilled hole, and our chain hold downs. Other than that, everything else is nicely concealed behind the rear bumper and doesn't stick out. We have a total of 400 pounds of tongue weight and 4,000 pounds of towing weight without a weight distribution hitch. With the weight distribution hitch it will add up to 500 pounds of tongue weight with 5,000 pounds of towing capability, and a pre-drilled hole for an anti-rattle bolt locking pin. One of the great features about this hitch is our crosstube and the main body of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper, and the only thing really showing is our receiver tube and chain hold down, but yet it's still very accessible.
