Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer hitch receiver here on a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed in our Pacifica here. Now this hitch does have a hidden cross tube, meaning it's actually gonna be tucked away back behind the bumper here. So the only thing we can actually see is the receiver tube and all of our hitch components have a black powder-coated finish which is gonna do a great job of help protecting them from rust over time. So adding a trailer hitch to your Pacifica here, it's gonna be a great option 'cause it's gonna allow you to obviously tow a trailer. But if you wanted to hit some trails or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for you and the family on those long road trips you could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or hitch-mounted cargo carrier. more

Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CURT trailer hitch receiver here on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So adding a trailer hitch to your Pacifica, it's gonna be a great idea because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now, we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit the trails or just free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, we could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or hitch-mounted cargo carrier. So in regards to towing, our trailer hitch is gonna provide us with a 4,000-pound gross trailer weight rating, that's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver tube, and also has a 400-pound tongue weight rating, which is the downward force on the receiver tube. Now, keep in mind, these capacities are for the hitch only, which is actually tested separately of the vehicle. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options on a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. When choosing a trailer hitch for your Pacifica, it can be kind of confusing at times scrolling through the website to figure out what really is the difference between all of them. They all kind of tend to look the same and if you've never really shopped for a hitch or had one on a vehicle sometimes it's hard to decipher which one the best one is for your needs. Well, hopefully I can explain what makes these all different. Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com c.lass three trailer hitch receiver. Now even though this hitch is more visible than some of the others out there, it does sit behind the bumper nicely and it almost looks like it belongs. It doesn't look like it's out of place and there is an upside to the visibility, and that's ease to use. Everything is going to be in the open and really easy to get things connected or disconnected. And one of the things that kind of separates this one from some of the others is it's finish. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, you're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch receiver, part number 36798. The cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing we're really going to see is our receiver tube. This is going to be a class two hitch, so it's going to work great for any class two accessories. It's going to be inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter. The hitch pin hole is going to be half inch in diameter. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76046.This is what our trailer hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing we're really going to see is our receiver tube and our added on plate here for our wiring accessories. This is going to be a class three hitch. It's going to be a 2 inch by 2 inch. Hitch pin hole is going to be 5/8 inch in diameter. more
