Best 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Hitch Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2005 Chrysler Pacifica we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here for you today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite Class 3, part number 75522. On the bottom we have a CURT Class 3, part number 13529.Now the biggest difference that we found between these two hitches, when it comes down to recreational use, we found that our Draw-Tite hitch here at the top, we have a secondary hole here closest to the end of our receiver. This is for our j-pin stabilization device. What that does is take away some of the annoying shake, play, and rattle out of whatever is inserted into your receiver. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class three receiver hitch, part number 75522. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on Pacifica. Our hitch does have a two inch opening right here, which works with a wide variety of ball-mounts, and other accessories such as bike racks or cargo carriers. Also, you can see how it fits on the vehicle on the edge of the hitch here, it's just behind this edge of the bumper. You notice our hitch has two holes on each side. This 5/8 diameter hole right here is designed for your hitch-pins, or locking hitch-pins, for all of your accessories. This smaller diameter hole here that is on both sides, is designed for use of J-pin stabilization pin. That works with all of your accessories and ball-mounts that do not have their own anti-rattle devices built in. On the very bottom of our hitch, we have our safety-chain loops right here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today on this 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87432 and this installation with also apply to Draw-Tite hitch part number 75522. Before we get started with our installation, we are going to go ahead and give you a couple of final installed dimensions which are going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground, is going to measure 11-1/2 inches and from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure about 3-1/2 inches. And now we will go ahead and move onto our installation. OK, the first thing we have done is gone ahead and lowered down the spare tire just to give us a little more working room. We are starting off over in the passenger side, we are going to go ahead and lower down the exhaust first. If you do have dual exhaust you will need to do this on both sides. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica C12262- Video
Today on this 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we are going to install part number 12262 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when it is installed. Now we will go ahead and give you some measurements. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 11-3/4 inches on this particular vehicle. And from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 6 inches. Alright, next we will go ahead and show you how it gets installed. 0:23 more
