Best 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Hitch Options

Speaker 1: Today on our 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. All right, we have two hitches here for you today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite class three, part number 75522, and on the bottom we have a Curt class three, part number 13529.The biggest difference that we found between these two hitches, when it comes down to recreational use, we found that our Draw-Tite hitch here on the top, we have a secondary hole here closest to the end of the receiver, and this is for a J-pin stabilization device. What that does is take away some of the annoying shake, play, and rattle out of whatever is inserted into your receiver. You can pick up a J-pin stabilization device from the website to take care of that for you.Another difference that we found is when it comes down to towing. Our safety chain loops that we have here on the Curt, they're a little bit smaller diameter than what they are on the Draw-Tite. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Today we are going to install part number 87432 from Hidden Hitch. We will be installing this class 3 receiver on a 2003 Chrysler Pacifica. This also will apply to part number 75522 from Draw Tite. To begin our install we actually took down our spare tire. Which is optional but it makes things easier in the long run. Basically what we are going to do here is take out this one bolt here. That should be held up here. And hardware will be pulled through this oval hole here and through the small square hole. 2 more bolts will be coming from the inside out here. It will be the same thing on both sides. Now on the passenger side obviously your exhaust will be in the way so we are going to want to lower it. We lower it by removing the rubber hangers and then getting the exhaust out of the way for more working room. It is also a good idea to use a strap to keep the exhaust from going down all the way. more
