Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 BMW X5- Video
Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the curt class three trailer hitch receiver on a 2012 BMW X5. Now here we have our trailer hitch actually installed on our BMW. And you can tell right away that it is a hidden cross too, and what does that mean Well, just gonna have this receiving end actually sticking out of the fascia as the rest of it actually leaves back where the original bumper support was. So that's really great because it gives you a nice clean OEM look, you don't have that bar hanging down and it's gonna be a great option for all your accessories. more

Best 2012 BMW X5 Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2012 BMW X5 we'll be looking at our best hitch options. Here are our two hitches here today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite class three, part number 75600. On the bottom here we have a CURT class three, part number 13077. Now both of these hitches are a fairly involved installation. You have to remove the entire rear bumper cover of the vehicle and temporarily remove the rear crash bar. The Draw-Tite hitch here on the top reinstalls using factory hardware. more

Today on our 2012 BMW X5 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Hidden Hitch custom fit class three trailer hitch receiver. Its part number is 87455. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. We've got our receiver tube opening that sticks down there. That's really all we can see. The rest of our crosstube and everything has been hidden up behind the rear fascia. more
