Hi there, MDX owners. Today on our 2017 Acura MDX, we're going to be showing you how to install etrailer.com Class 3 two inch trailer hitch receiver.And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is going to be tucked up behind the bumper here so you really won't be able to see it. You'll just be able to see the receiver here at the back. It's a Class 3 two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're going to be using it for a bike rack, loaded up with four bikes, or if you want to hook up your jet ski trailer or even a small camper. This will get you good for the weekend.One of the things I like about this hitch is it's matte finish. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Acura MBX, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's Class Three Two Inch Max Frame Tower Hitch Receiver, part number 75225.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross-tube's going to be mostly hidden behind the bumper, so you're only going to be able to see the receiving tube sticking out the end. It's a class three, two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, from trailers to bike racks, this thing will do it all.It features vertical plate style safety chain loops, and the nice large opening will allow it to accommodate just about any size safety chain. It uses a five-eighths inch hitch pin and clip. One's not included but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com with part number PC3. In addition, the small hole in front of that is going to allow it to accommodate a J pin. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Acura MDX we're going to be installing CURT's Class 3, two-inch trailer hitch receiver, Part Number C13146.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see the cross tube's hidden behind the bumper so you're only going to see the receiving tube sticking out the end here. It's a Class 3, two-inch by two-inch receiver so it's going to be great for all your towing needs from trailers to bike racks, it'll do it all.It's got hoop style safety chain loops so these would be great to accommodate just about any size safety chain that you might have.It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin. Hitch pin and clips not included with this hitch, but you can pick one here up at etrailer.com. It features a 900 pound tongue weight, that's the force going down on top of the receiver, and a 6,000 pound gross towing capacity. That's how much you can pull behind it.If you're using a weight distribution system, your tongue weight's going to remain the same, but your gross towing capacity's going to increase to 8,000 pounds.You do want to check your vehicle's Owners Manual to ensure you're not exceeding its capacities.Now I've got some measurements for you to help when deciding on accessories. more
