Best 2010 Acura MDX Hitch Options

Today on our 2010 Acura MDX we'll be looking at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here today. On the top we have a CURT class three, part number 13354. On the bottom we have a Draw-Tite class three, part number 75614. The main difference between our two hitches here today is that our Draw-Tite here has this extra tab welded onto it where you can mount your electrical connections for your trailer wiring such as your four-pole flat or your seven-way RV connection. Our Draw-Tite hitch here has an additional hole that's in front of the standard 5/8 diameter hitch pinhole. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Acura MDX

Today on this 2010 Acura MDX we are going to install part number 13354 from Curt. First thing we need to do to get started is lower the spare tire. It makes everything a lot easier to thread the bolts in and tighten them down. The next thing we want to do is lower the exhaust. There is going to be two rubber hangers on each muffler so we are going to spray them down with some lubricant and then pry them off any way we can and then we will get to installing the hitch. You will notice that when we took down the first bumper hanger it came down pretty good already so it might be a good idea to run a strap around the exhaust components to keep them from falling down. Lets move on over to the rubber hanger. Spray it down and remove it. 00:38 more
