Hi there Jeep owners, today in your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Redarc's Tow-Pro Elite proportional brake controller. And it is blue, which means that we're currently in proportioning mode. And that's your normal mode. When in proportioning mode, when you apply your brakes, the module will detect the inertia and it will use your setting here to appropriately apply the brakes to help match your vehicle. So that way you get nice, smooth stopping performance. And this is what you're going to want to use most of the time. more

Draw-Tite I-Command Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on this 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite 1 command trailer brake controller, part number 5535. To help us with our install, we'll also be using part number ETBC7. This is what our brake controller looks like once installed in our wrangler. You can see it's got a really small profile to it. It's not as big, it's not very large. It's just right in this vehicle. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today, on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited With Factory 7-Way, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, Part Number: 90195. Now to help us with our installation, we're going to be using the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers, Part Number: 5506. So here's what our break controller looks like when it's fully installed. The thing I really like about this particular break controller is that it is a proportional break controller. What that means is it's going to automatically activate our trailer brakes in proportion to our vehicle breaking action. So it's going to automatically adjust the breaking based on how much our vehicle is decelerating. So right now we're at a dead stop, but I do have something hooked up to the back, so it realizes that. more
