Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2012 Ford Expedition we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller. This is going to give you the ability to use electric brakes with your vehicle. This brake controller is going to activate your trailer's brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action.You notice when I push on the brakes here, the voltage is going to go back, which is going to send back a signal to your trailer brakes. With our arrows over here on the side, you're going to have a 14 level adjustability; 0 all the way up to 14. When first setting it to your trailer, you're going to want to start in the middle at 7 and go down or up, depending on what size trailer you might have.They do have three different settings of boost that you can push from this button over here on the right. more
