Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to be taking a look at, and installing, Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller. This is what it looks like installed. It's a great alternative to your traditional style brake controllers. Where the installation is a little more in depth, and you have to wire things up, this is simply just plug and play.An advantage over the current compared to some of the traditional style ones, is you don't have a big bulky box screwed into your brand new dashboard, banging your knee against it when you're trying to get in and out of the car, and it's not a permanent modification. Everything you need, as far as your controller goes, is on your phone and an app.Since this isn't a permanent modification, it can be interchangeable. That way, you can use it for multiple vehicles, multiple trailers, for anything you might have. Whenever you're done with it, it's small enough to where you can just throw it in your glove box. This is going to be really easy to use, and it only takes a couple minutes to set up. more

Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chrysler Town And Country

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, and to help us with our installation, we're going to be using the universal installation kit for trailer brake controllers. Here's what our brake controller looks like once we have it installed. It's going to have a really nice, easy-to-read display, so we can know exactly what's going on with our trailer. Now the Prodigy P3 was going to be a proportional brake controller, which means that it's going to have a sensor inside the brake controller that's going to sense the slowing down of our van, and apply the brakes accordingly. That's going to be a big benefit over the time delayed ones, which basically uses a pre-set time that the brake controller waits, and then it applies the brakes up to the maximum power. This is going to give us a nice, even smooth action. more
