CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2013 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA clip-on towing mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if we like that side view, we can keep it wherever we want. We can also adjust it up or down, diagonal, or left or right. Each one of the clips here is not going to get in the way of the operation or movement of our factory mirror, and we can even still fold it in. Here on the back side, it uses two rubber straps to secure it in place around the factory mirror. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you could see, there is no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, side to side, and even diagonal. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Dual View clip on towing mirror. That's part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not so much the factory mirror. Between both mirrors, you get the same view, you just get a closer more clear view in the larger mirror. more

It offers a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to most angles. Got our left and right, up and down and diagonal. more
