Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Forester we're gonna be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror, part number KS3990. See, you can clearly see me in the factory mirror back here, but if I step away, you're gonna lose track of me. That's where our towing mirror's gonna come into play. It's gonna give us a much wider field of view and make it a lot easier and safer to get down the road, whether we're changing lanes, pulling into the campground, or backing up, these mirrors are gonna make it a lot easier.Now, our towing mirror is gonna attach directly to our factory mirror and extend out so we have that wider field of view. And it is gonna have dual mirrors on there, the smaller one being a convex mirror to act more like a spot mirror, and the larger flat mirror to give us more of a true perspective of what's directly behind us.Both of them are gonna be fully adjustable, so we'll be able to get the right angle we need when we're going down the road. K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2018 Subaru Forester- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Forester we're going to be installing the K Source towing mirror, part number KS3891-2, for a quantity of two, and you can get it in a quantity of one with part number KS3891.So as you can see here, I'm visible in our factory mirror. But as I go towards the outside, I'm no longer visible int he factory mirror, but can still be seen in our additional towing mirror. This is extremely useful when changing lanes on the highway when hauling a trailer, and also during parking maneuvers and other evasive maneuvers. This mirror is going to be adjustable, so you can adjust it for the length and width of your trailer. There's a swivel ball located on the back side of the mirror so it's fully adjustable. This is useful if you have varying lengths and widths of trailer that you need to adjust it for. more

And as you can see here, I'm perfectly visible in our factory mirror, but as I move towards the outside, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can be seen in our towing mirror. This is especially useful when changing lanes on the highway, or during parking maneuvers.This is going to be your basic economical towing mirror. It's going to get the job done, and be adjustable for whatever trailer you've got. The mirror glass is fully adjustable. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2018 Subaru Forester- Video

Speaker 1: Today, in our 2018 Subaru Forrester, we are going to be installing CIPA's dual view towing mirror, part number 11953-2 which comes in a quantity of two. If you just need a quantity of one, you can get that with part number 11953.So as you can see here, I'm perfectly visible in our factory mirror, but as I move towards the outside you lose vision of me in the factory mirror, but I can still be seen in our towing mirror. This is great when making lane changes on the highway or during parking maneuvers. It features two fully adjustable mirrors, one that is flat and one that is convex for additional viewing range.Now, while it is installed you are going to have some limited movement on your factory movement as it may contact the mounting locations. However, you will have most of the adjustment, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. When installed the mirror does still fully breakaway so you don't have to worry about any scratches or abrasions in case it does happen to fold in.The adjustment knobs in the back will allow you to spread it wider or closer. more
