Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best towing mirror options for your 2014 Ram 1500. Over here we're gonna have the clip-on towing mirrors, here's gonna be a door mount, and these are gonna be a slide-on.So let's talk about our clip-on mirrors first. Gonna install the same, they're gonna clip-on to your factory housing, it's gonna have a strap that comes around the back of your mirror and clips onto the top of the arm.The difference between them is, this one here is gonna have a rubber foot and it's also going to ratchet. Where as this one, is gonna clip-on and it's just gonna have a pull strap to tighten it to how you need.Now the difference between our clip-on mirrors as opposed to this one, is this one is gonna mount directly to the door. Now your clip-on mirrors you're gonna get a little bit of vibration, they might move a little bit with wind resistance. Where as this one that clips on to your door, it's gonna have a seatbelt like strap, that's gonna tighten it to your door. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 we're going to be taking a look at the K Source snap and zap custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number KS80710. So, here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror but, if I step away you're going to lose track of me. But, that's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. It's going to give us a wider field of view for a safer trip down the highway when we need to change lanes, or possibly even just back our trailer up or, even going up to the camp grounds.What you're really going to like about this mirror set is, is that when you have them on they're going to look completely factory. It's even going to have that cut out for your puddle lamp and if you don't have one like ours here, it's going to blend in nicely with the black plastic on your factory mirror.Now, our tow mirror over on the side is going to be fully adjustable to be able to get that perfect angle going down the road. And, whether we're parking, or just any kind of close quarters situations, we're still going to be able to fold our mirror in without having to worry about removing the tow mirror. more

CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 were going to be installing the Cipa Slip-On Universal Mirror, part number 7070. A couple neat features real quick about this mirror is we have the adjustable straps here at the back. It also has the stops so that way once you get that fully tighten on there you can be assured that the straps not going to slip back off the clip. This adjusts in two different areas. Weve got the pivoting motion right here at the center, its going to allow us to adjust our arms to fit a wide variety of mirrors. Then up here where the arms connect thats also going to pivot to fit different angled styled mirrors. The mirror will adjust 360 degrees so that way you can get the best fit and the best angle for your towing application. It will install on either your driver or passenger side. more

Today, on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're going to be installing the Cipa Custom Towing Mirrors. This is a kit for the driver and passenger side, Part Number CM11400. You can see that the great advantage of having the extended mirror is it's going to extend our line of sight and you can actually push on each corner. These are manual to adjust the angle that you need, that's going to best suit your towing application. The kit is going to come with two mirrors, two sets of wedges per mirror, a neoprene premium strip and a tightening hand knob that's going to help us fully secure everything in place. Today, we'll be using the thicker wedge. The thicker wedge is designed for standard mirrors. more

If you are looking for the passenger side mirror, it can be purchased separately with part number CM11402. Both sides can be purchased as a set with part number CM11400. You can see that the great advantage of having the extended mirror is this going to extend our line of sight and you can actually push on each corner, these are manual to adjust the angle that you need that's going to best suite your towing application. Now typically before you get started, you will take the prime strip and place it on top of the wedge. For our application today we are going to leave that uninstalled. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're going to be installing the K Source Universal Towing Mirror, Part number Ks3891. It comes with the two straps that we're going to use to tighten around the back of our factory mirror. It comes with a mirror with adjustable arms, so that way it is going to fit a wide variety of factory installed mirrors, and it's got the clips on the back for our straps to fit into. We'll go ahead an apply this to our driver side. We'll show you how it installs. We're going to take these clips and we're going to fit them into the area above and below the factory mirror. Once we've got those on there, then we're ready to move around to the back side and install our straps. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 we're going to be test fitting the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors. This is a pair: one for the driver side, one for the passenger side. Its part number is LVT-3100C. We've just got our box from Etrailer. We're going to open it up so we can give you a pretty realistic idea of exactly how long these are going to take you to get them out of the box and onto your vehicle. Got one mirror there. more
