CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation -2013 Ram 1500- Video
Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2013 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA Universal Fit Dual Lens Towing Mirrors. A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view, and that can be especially useful whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. Especially with this one, the smaller mirror on the outside of the towing mirror is really going to let us see what's happening far from our truck. And if I take a step a little bit closer to our trailer, I'll then become visible in the larger towing mirror; that'll help us, especially whenever we're just kind of cruising down the highway and wanting to see what's going on. And then if I take a step closer to our trailer, I've disappeared out of the towing mirror, completely and become visible in our factory mirror. more

Today on our 2013 Ram 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view and that can come especially in handy whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a better eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an idea, as you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror and not in our factory mirror. So that's how much more ground you're going to be able to cover. Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror and that's really going to help eliminate those blind spots too.One of the things that I noticed that's a little bit different about this one compared to some of the other universal towing mirrors is the clarity of the lens. more

Today on our 2013 Ram 1500 we'll be doing a test fit on the Sepa dual-view clip-on towing mirror. That's part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror between the larger and the smaller mirror. They both give you the same view. more

Today on our 2013 RAM 1500, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Clip on towing mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even backup while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not so much the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there is no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror, itself, can be rotated 360 degrees. It also can be adjusted to most angles. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2013 Ram 1500 KS3891- Video
Today on our 2013 Ram 1500, we're going to be test fitting the K-Source Universal Fit Towing Mirrors, part number KS3891. Now, with out towing mirror in place, you can see we've extended our line of sight well past the factory mirror's limits. That's going to help us with changing lanes, passing vehicles safely and making our trip much more enjoyable. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. You can see it's going clamp around our factory mirror, just grabbing on the edges. This is going to be fully-adjustable to fit most vehicles. The outside towing mirror is fully adjustable up and down and side-to-side. The other nice feature about it is you can take the set 00:00:42 crew out of the back. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Ram 1500- Video
Today, on our 2013 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors for passenger and driver side, part number KS80710. Now, you can see me in our trailer mirror, but I'm not visible in our factory mirror anymore, so we've moved our line of sight out considerably past the outside of the trailer. It's going to make it a lot easier to change lanes and be able to see what's over there when somebody's coming up on your side. Here's what your mirror is going to look like once it's installed. You can see it's got a nice manually adjusted mirror on the outside that you can adjust to just about any angle you'd like. It's not going to interfere with your factory mirror adjustments. It's made out of a durable ABS plastic. more

CIPA Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Ram 1500- Video
Today on this 2013 Ram 1500 crew cab, we're going to show you part number CM11400. This is the Cipa custom towing mirrors for a driver and passenger sides of a truck. Now we'll go ahead and back up to one of our trailers and we'll go ahead and set up our mirrors. You can see that on the factory mirror for a truck, you see the front of the trailer just fine. Now with our towing mirror, we will actually be able to see the back of our trailer a little bit better and see what's going on towards the end of our trailer. First we'll go ahead and take a look at them installed in a truck already. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, we will be installing the longview slip-on custom towing mirrors for driver and passenger sidepart number LVT-3100C. The towing mirrors slip over your factory side-view mirrors to give you a better view of the road and your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park. The towing mirrors will not obstruct factory mirrors and they will not interfere with the adjustment of factory mirrors. The aerodynamic shape helps to prevent vibration and wind noise. The chrome plating on the mirror face helps minimize distortion and reduces glare, while the manually adjustable face allows you to customize your view. As you can see here, our kit includes two mirrors, two clips with threaded ends, and two hand knobs used for tightening. We will begin our installation by sliding the towing mirror onto our existing mirror. We will want to make sure that the tab is kind of favored towards the top. more
