CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2013 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV, we'll be doing a test fit on the Cipa Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. It offers a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm showing up in both the smaller and larger mirror, the larger is just a slightly bigger view. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to any angle. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, and we can still rotate it in. With both mirrors, it measures 7" long by 5 1/2" wide. I'm here on the passenger side of my Honda CRV, and to begin our test fit, we'll first need to turn the mirror over, and we're going to loosen up these 2 knobs, here. This is going to allow us to widen both arms. more

By loosening this nut up top here, it allows us to extend the bar out so we can better suit our towing needs. Once we've got it set we can just tighten it back up. By loosening up the knob back here, it allows us to adjust the mirror anywhere along the bar. Once we've got it set we just tighten it back down. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can still rotate it in. The mirror itself measures 7-1/4 inches long by 4-1/2 inches wide. So I'm here on the passenger side of my CRV and to begin our test fit we'll first need to make sure that our clips are opened up on the underside. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at the K Source universal towing mirrors. These are part number KS3891. You're going to see the advantage that we're going to gain with the towing mirrors. Right now I'm standing pretty much right behind the mirror, you can see me fine in our factory mirror. As I start stepping over you can see we're going to transition out of that factory mirror, and anything from this point on we wouldn't have seen. As I continue to step over you can see there's a significant advantage in field of view that we're going to gain here. more
