CIPA Clamp on Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It offers a wide field of view that's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. We can extend our mirror out to better suit our towing needs. Simply loosen up this large nut up here. Extend it out as much as we need, and then tighten it back down. The mirror itself can be rotated three hundred sixty degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. By loosening up the knob back here, we can adjust our mirror anywhere along the bar. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA dual-view clip-on towing mirror, part number 11953. Both mirrors can be adjusted to any angle. Over here, you can see how it's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, though we won't be able to rotate it all the way in, as one of the arms will make contact with the trim on our Traverse. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. As you can see, between both of our mirrors, one gives us a wider view, and the other one gives us a closer and larger view. I'm here on the passenger side of my Traverse, and to begin our test fit, let's go ahead and turn our mirror over. We have these two knobs on the back. Let's go ahead and loosen those up. more

Speaker 2: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to test it on the CIPA clip-on towing mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror but we won't be able to rotate it all the way in, as it will hit one of the brackets. So here at the passenger side of my Traverse and to begin our test fit, we need to make sure that our brackets or our arms here are opened up. That way we can easily clip on our mirror. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on this 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to show you the K-Source Clip On Mirrors, part number KS3891, for back up to our trailer, let's go ahead and check it out. Our original mirror right here, hasn't been moved or anything like that, however we've positioned our towing mirror to make things easier to see. We've got most of our regular viewing distance in our car right here and then we can see much more of our trailer with our towing mirror, and also beyond that as well. This is an extra large universal towing mirror that clips over your existing side mirrors on your vehicle. This will give you an extended rear view past your vehicle and onto your trailer. We have one of our mirrors installed on our passenger side here, we'll go ahead and take a closer look at it. First off, it clips in with these little hooks that catch onto the bottom edge of the factory mirror. This is the bottom edge, let's take a look at the top and it does the same thing. more
