And we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO supplemental braking system. When you're flat towing a vehicle down the road, especially a 1500, you're gonna want some sort of supplemental braking system, either mounted on your car or in your car. Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System with Coachlink on our 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Your five main components are going to be your tow bar, which will connect your RV to your Jeep, your base plate, which is a physical connection that the tow bar connects to, your supplemental braking system, which helps the Jeep to come to a safe and slow stop behind the motorhome, your diode wiring kit, which is going to transfer the lighting signals from the back of your motorhome to the back of your Jeep, and then finally, your safety cables. This is going to come into play in an unlikely disconnect. If the tow bar we inchesre to ever come disconnected from the Jeep, those safety cables are gonna kick in and keep the Jeep behind you so that you can get over to the side of the road and come to a safe and slow stop. Now, the way this kit is going to work is it's going to take an air signal from your coach and apply the brakes on the inside of your Jeep while you're flat towing it down the road. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the best flat-tow setup for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox. Now there's five main components required for flat-towing your Equinox down the road, and we will start on the vehicle side and that's gonna start with the base plate and that attaches to the frame of the vehicle and gives us the structural mounting point for the rest of our connections. And the connecting point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV is gonna be your tow bar and that's your second component. Again, this is the physical attachment, basically like the coupler of your trailer, this is what is going to pull this down the road. Now, just like a trailer, you also have safety cables, just in case of disconnect. So it's a structural mounting point that has arms here that allows you to get your tow bar connected to it. Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we've got a 2019 GMC Yukon, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Brake Buddy supplemental braking system. The Brake Buddy Classic Three is going to be a portable braking system and it's essentially designed so that you don't have to permanently install anything underneath the hood or on the brake pedal itself to have braking in your vehicle behind your motor home when you're going down the road. This system is also known as a transferable system, so if you decide to get a different vehicle to pull behind your motor home, this is gonna be a great option, because all you're gonna have to do is pull your wiring that you run up to the battery, pull that out, and then install a new breakaway switch and then take your Brake Buddy out and put it on your new car. Now the reason why you want to add a braking system to your vehicle is because motor homes are not designed to just stop dead weight behind them. They are large and they can stop a lot of weight, but that doesn't mean it's safe when you're going down the road, especially if you're going downhills or uphills. more

Today we've got a 2014 Ram 1500, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay-in-Play DUO supplemental braking system. Now, the reason why you'll want to go with any braking system for your Ram 1500 is because, if you're flat-towing your Ram, you want the vehicle to be able to stop itself while the RV is stopping itself. So, the design of the Stay-in-Play DUO is it will apply pressure to the brakes on your Ram 1500, when you depress the brakes on the inside of the RV. Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay and Play Duo Supplemental Braking System on our 2022 Jeep Gladiator. Before we get into it, we're gonna talk about the five main components that are involved in a flat tow in order to safely do it behind your motor home. The first is gonna be your base plate which is going to mount on your vehicle. The second will be your tow bar, which connects the RV to the vehicle and you'll have your braking system your supplemental braking system which helps the vehicle stop behind the motor home so that the motor home doesn't have to do all the braking. You'll have your diode wiring which transfers the lighting signals from your motor home to the back of your vehicle. more

Now the Brake Buddy is a good choice for you if, say, you have a lease vehicle and you don't wanna dump a whole lot of money with a supplemental braking system into a car that you might just be getting rid of in a few years. Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System Installation - 2018 Ford Explorer- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Braking System on a 2018 Ford Explorer. There's five main components when flat towing your Explorer that are gonna be required. Now the first one is gonna be the base plate which is gonna attach to the frame of the vehicle creating a nice structural support for your tow bar to be able to connect from your base plate to the hitch on the RV. Now going along with that, we have our safety chains and that's just in case of an accidental disconnect. It's still gonna keep everything attached and the mounting points are already on the base plate for you. You also have your diode wiring, which is gonna transmit light signals from the RV to the taillights on the towed vehicle. more

And essentially what that is, is it's designed to fit your vehicle if you're in one of three situations, if you decide to get a different braking system and the rest of your car is already set up to flat tow all you have to do is just get this kit. And another situation would be is if you get a different motorhome and it doesn't have the system on it to control your vehicle via air. Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Demco Air Force One supplemental braking system. Now, this is gonna be a great option if you have air brakes on your coach, and today it's going on a 2016 GMC Terrain. Now, in flat towing your Terrain, there's gonna be five main components required for flat towing and the first one's gonna be a base plate, and that's gonna be the attachment point for all of your components, and it's attached to the frame of the vehicle, creating a nice sturdy mounting point. Going along with that, you have safety chains, which are in case of a disconnect, it's gonna hold everything together and that way the car's not getting disconnected. Now, between your base plate and the hitch on the RV, you are gonna have your tow bar and that is simply that connection point that allows it to pivot as you're going down the road. more
