Roadmaster Diode 7 to 6 Wire Coil Kit Installation - 2018 Lincoln MKX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Lincoln MKX we're going to be installing Roadmaster's Diode Wiring Kit, part number RM-15267. This diode lighting kit is going allow your vehicle to receive all of the signals from your RV while being flat towed. This is going to include your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, so it will be DOT compliant in all states. The kit includes diodes that will tap into the wiring that goes to your tail lights. This will make sure that the signals coming from your RV don't interfere with the signals on your vehicle. It puts a one way check valve that prevents those signals from going the other direction.As you can see here we've got our left turn signal transferring from our RV back to our vehicle. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Lincoln MKX, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster universal high power diode wiring kit, part number RM-152. Keep in mind this is only one component of our flat tow setup. You're gonna need a baseplate, tow bar, and a breaking system along with the tow bar wiring. Our diodes are gonna allow us to accept our motor home's light signals and transfer them to our Lincoln. That way, we can get down the road safely and everybody knows if we're gonna turn or if we're breaking and we slow down. Our diodes are gonna protect our Lincoln, making sure that there's no back feeding and if there is ever a problem on our motor home, it's not gonna affect the Lincoln at all. more
