Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit here on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So a diode wiring kit is going to fall under the category of a tow bar wiring, which is just one of the many things you need in order to successfully flat tow your Jeep. Now, there's quite a few different options in regards to that tow bar wiring. The diodes, however, are best, in my opinion. So the reason I like the diode wiring kit is that it actually uses our factory tail lights here. Therefore, we don't have to worry about draping any lights over the vehicle, like some of the magnetic kind and we don't have to worry about actually drilling into or modifying our tail light housing like some of the bulb and socket kits. more

Today in our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Road Master Diode Seven Wire to Six Wire FlexiCoil Wiring Kit. Part Number RM-15267. First thing we'll need to do to begin our install is we're going to need to remove this little cover right here and in order to do that there's going to be six total push pins. Four up along the front here and then two more along the backside that I'll show you. You can take a flat-head screwdriver. Just pop the center of those down. more

Today in our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Hopkins custom tail light wiring kit for towed vehicles. Part number is HM56200. All right, now here's a great look at what our wiring kit's going to look like before we start installing it. You can see here's the heart of the system. This is a weatherproof sealed box. Inside, it contains diodes. Now, these diodes are designed to prevent back feeding, so we won't have any back feed coming from our RV into our towed vehicle, so we're not going to have to worry about any electrical issues there. Now, we've got our signal wire here. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at, and also showing you, how to install the TrailerMate Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles. This part number is TM781124. Here's what our kit's going to look like. Basically, this is going to provide us with the trailer signal that we need, or a plug-in, at the front of the vehicle to get the trailer signal from our motor home so it'll operate the lights on our vehicles we're heading down the road. That's going to keep us legal. You can see we've got a nice, long coil of wire so we can run from the front of the vehicle to the back. Once we get there, we've got a white ground. more
