Shane: Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today, I'm going to walk you through how to install Roadmaster's diode wiring kit on our Jeep Wrangler. It's going to be one of five main components on a flat tow setup. The other four are going to be your base plate, your tow bar, your safety cables, and your braking system. Our diode kit is designed to do is allow our towed vehicle to receive light functions from our RV so that we're legal and we're safe while we're driving down the road.We're going to have a plug that mounts on the front of the towed vehicle, we'll have wiring that runs through the back of the vehicle behind each taillight, where we connect our diodes. As I mentioned, our diode kit is going to allow our towed vehicle, or our Jeep, to receive light functions from the motor home. more
