Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit. So there's going to be five main components needed to flat tow your Sierra down the road. You're going to have a base plate, your tow bar, your tow bar wiring, your braking system, as well as your safety cables.Now, the purpose of the diode wiring kit is to transfer the lighting functions from the back of your motorhome to the back of the Sierra keeping you safe and legal. And what's really nice about this kit is that it uses diodes. Now those diodes are actually going to protect your vehicle's factory wiring if a short or an electrical issue we're to occur on the motorhome side.Now there is another option available to provide you those lighting functions and that's called magnetic lighting. more
