Shane: Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today we have a 2020 GMC Canyon Pickup Truck and I'm going to walk you through how to install a Roadmaster's Diode Wiring Kit. It's going to be one of the seven main components to flat tow the vehicle, the other six are going to be your braking system, the base plate, your tow bar, the battery disconnect, a brake light switch or a stoplight switch, your safety cables. There's going to be one component that I'm going to recommend and that's the battery charge line. That wiring kit is designed to allow you to transfer light signals from your motor home or RV back to the factory taillights in your vehicle so that everybody knows what you're doing, whether that's turning, braking or driving at night.Diodes are going to mount to factory wiring behind each taillight and they're going to protect the factory wiring from any back feed. What's nice about this is, once you have them installed, you don't have to do anything else. more
