Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best tow bar wiring options for your 2015 Ford Focus. Whenever we're flat towing our Focus, it's very important that the light functions on our motor home transfer over to our Focus so everybody knows what's going on, whether we're slowing down and the brake lights come on or if we turn our turn signal on to change lanes. There's going to be three basic types of lighting options that we're going to have available for our Focus so we'll take a closer look at those and go over some of the features.The first style we're going to have is going to be the diode style, and then the bulb and socket, and then finally the removable lights. Now with the removable lights there are a lot of different options available. These are the tried and true versions that we may have seen a lot either on vehicles or on trailers. Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2015 Ford Focus- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Focus we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Roadmaster taillight wiring kit with bulbs, part number RM-155. With this system you're not going to tie into any of your factory wiring. This is a completely self sufficient system running off the wiring of your coach. There's no need to tap or splice into any factory wiring or add any diodes because it's a separate bulb and socket that go into each of your taillights. Now this is what your kit's going to consist of. You're going to have a 30 foot long piece of four flat wiring with ends on both sides. We'll have a six foot jumper harness that's going to be used for going between your coach and your vehicle. more
