Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2013 Ford C-Max, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Roadmaster diode wiring kit. But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is the right setup for you. So, before we get too carried away, kinda talking about the diodes, I figured it'd be useful just to kinda touch base and refresh yourselves on the main parts that we're gonna need to flat tow our C-Max down the road in the first place. Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Installation - 2013 Ford C-Max- Video
All right, today on this 2013 Ford C Max we are going to install part number bx8869 from Blue Ox. All right, first thing we are going to do is to take our four-pole wire. We are going to route it to the back. We are going to start by the front bumper over by the base plate and work our way back. As we work our way back we will make sure that we stay away from the moving, like suspension components or anything hot like the exhaust. In this case we are able to run it underneath the sub-frame and then we hid the wire underneath some appearance panels below the vehicle. more
