Shane: Hi, everyone. Shane here at etrailer.com. Today, I have a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, and I want to walk you through how I installed Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass for 50 amp fuses. The reason this vehicle needs it is because, when the car is set up to be in tow mode, you have to have the key in the accessory on position to shift it into neutral. Once shifted into neutral, the key can not be taken out of the ignition because it kind of locks it into place. So you have to be able to shut the power off for the battery. more

Today a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, and I want to walk through how I installed the Blue Ox fuse bypass.Now, why would we need a fuse bypass for this vehicle In order to flat tow your vehicle behind your motor home, it requires you to pull two fuses. One of the fuses is a 15 amp fuse to your ECM. It requires it to be pulled once the vehicle is put into tow mode. An easy way to do that, rather than each time you want to tow your vehicle, pulling the two fuses out, or pulling that fuse out is to get a fuse bypass. more
