Roadmaster Smart Diodes Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hi there, Equinox owners. Today, on your 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's smart diodes for incandescent bulbs. Roadmaster's smart diodes for incandescent bulbs will allow you to tap into the wiring on your existing lighting circuits on your vehicle and be able to add a couple of additional circuits to it that you can run up to a connector at the front of the vehicle and plug into your motor home. This is really nice for flat tow setups because with a flat tow, you have to have your lights working here at the back to remain DOT-compliant in all states. And it's important that people know your intentions when you're driving down the road. And this is gonna be blocking your motor home when you're pulling it behind it, so this way, we get all those signals there and keeps everybody safe and legal. more

Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster smart diode wiring kit on our 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. Now, the reason why you're going to want a diode chip for your Equinox is because you're going to want to flat tow it behind your motor home, and in order to legally and safely flat tow your vehicle, you need to have the signals going to the back, just like when you're towing your trailer. That way when we're going down the road, if you hit your brakes in your motor home, that signal will come back here and everyone behind you know you're slowing down or changing lanes. We have ours hooked up and you can see that the lights are working in unison, exactly how they should be.Now, when it comes to flat towing your Equinox you do have a few different options of how you can get your light signals to the back here. more

Today we're going to be going over your best flat tow setup for your Chevrolet Equinox.Now to flat tow your Equinox we're going to have five main components that are going to be needed. We're going to need a tow bar, a baseplate, safety cables, wiring and finally a braking system.Now if I had to recommend one tow bar that would work perfectly with our Equinox, I'd recommend this one here. Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, you're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Roadmaster tail light wiring kit with bulbs. This kit's gonna be one of five main components for a flat tow setup. The other four are gonna be your safety cables, your tow bar, your braking system, and your base plate. What our bulb and socket kit's gonna do, it's gonna allow us to transfer all of our light signals from our RV through to our vehicle while it's being flat towed.One thing that's great about the bulb and socket kit is you don't have to tap into the factory wiring. However, one downside to this is you will have to drill a hole into the back of your tail light. Our bulb and socket kit is gonna come standard with two four pole plugs on each end of your wire. more

Today on 2019 Chevrolet Equinox we're gonna be taking a look at. I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster Taillight Wiring kit for tow vehicles. Once our ball and socket kit's installed on our vehicle, you can see we're able to transfer all of our light signals from our RV through to our car while it's been flat towed. What's gonna separate this from other kinds like the diode kit is this wiring system runs by itself. It doesn't have to be tapped into the factory wiring on the vehicle. Another nice thing about this kit is the bulbs are LED bulbs, so they're gonna outlast the typical incandescent bulb and they're gonna draw a lot less energy, use a lot less power to make them work. more
