RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar Installation - 1998 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Today on our 1998 Jeep Wrangler, we'll be installing the Roadmaster Falcon Two tow bar with a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds, part number RM-520. To begin with, we're going to need to go ahead and connect our quick disconnect as well as the safety plate to the mounting bracket that's already installed on this vehicle. To do that, we'll be using the bolts, the flat washers, the lock washers, as well as the hex nuts. We'll go ahead and install this hardware loosely until we're sure everything lines up. We'll go ahead and put both the driver and the passenger side on. Now that we know that the quick disconnect crossbar goes on and off easily, we can go ahead and set it off and now we'll go ahead and torque the hardware to the manufacturer's specification. more
