This is the Pewag all square snow tire chains with cam tighteners. To begin our test fit, we'll go ahead and lay the chains out of the ground and make sure we get any kinks, knots, or tangles out of the chains themselves. With that done, we'll go ahead and drape out chains over the tire, making sure that our cross chains are centered on the tire tread. Now that we've made sure that our chains are centered, we'll work our way down to the inside of the tire here at the 6 o'clock position where we'll connect the 2 ends of the side chain together. Now you'll want to take up as much of the slack in the side chain as possible. We'll then move to the outside chain where we'll repeat the same process. Now with both side chains hooked together and as much of the slack out of the chains as possible, we'll work our way around the 3 cam tighteners on the tire here on the outside. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner with tire size 265/70-17 we'll be test fitting the Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, part number PWD2328SLC.To begin our test fit, we'll go ahead and set the chains on the ground, where we'll make sure we getany knots or kinks out of the chains themselves. This will ensure an easier and faster fit. We can nowdrape the chains over the tire, making sure that the cross chains are centered over the tire tread. Agood indicator of installing the chains correctly is making sure that the attachment point for thecross chains to the side chain hook faces out, as well as making sure that the cam tighteners are onthe outside of the tire. With that done, we'll move to the inside of the tire here at the six oclockposition and connect the two ends of the side chain together. You'll want to take as much of theslack out of the side chains as possible. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, well be test fitting the Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners for Light Trucks, part number PWH2228SC. Well be test fitting these tire chains on 265/70-17 tires. Now before I begin our test fit, well first lay the chains flat on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. Now this vehicle is primarily rear wheel drive, so well be putting the tire chains on the rear tires.Well now drap the tire chains over tire and noticing that the hooks are facing out, so that we dont damage our tire. Once we get the tire chains over the tire and centered, well move to the inside of the tire where we will connect the hook and link. Well then move to the outside of the tire where we will thread the link through the tightener and clip it with the other link on the other side. more

Now to begin our installation, we'll remove the chain and lay it out on the ground and remove any kinks or nuts in the chain itself. We'll then take our chains and drag them over the tire, making sure that the cam tighteners are on the outside of the tire. With our chains draped over and centered on the tire tread, we'll move to the inside of the tire where we'll connect the two ends of our side chain together, taking up as much of the slack in the chain as possible. more
