Today on our 2017 Subaru Outback wagon we're gonna be test-fitting the Glacier square link snow tire chains, part number PWPLC1142. These 30 case-hardened steel chains come with square links and a ladder pattern design which will give you better grip on both snowy and icy roads. These can be used with both rear and front wheel drive cars and are designed for highway use, not off road applications. These are SAE class S chains which means they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. And once you're finished using them, they do come with a convenient storage case to have them ready for next time. Today we're working with tire size 225 65 17. Today on our 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're going to be taking a look at the Glacier Cable snow tire chains, part number PW1046. And we're going to be using it with tire size 225 60/18. Now, our Glacier chain snow tire chains, are going to be great for occasional use, and they're going to provide you adequate traction in snow and ice. The cross chains feature a steel roller, which is going to give you a smooth ride, while still providing excellent traction. The ladder pattern's going to be great for whenever you're stopping or starting in snowy or icy conditions. Now, these are Class S chains, which means they're designed to work with minimal wheel well clearance. And they do meet the DOT requirements in all 50 states. They come in a quantity of two. more
