Today on our 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon, well be installing the Titan Twist Link Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1138. These are SAE class S chains. Well be installing these tire chains on tire size 225/55-17. Well be installing the tire chains on the backs of the tires. Well begin our installation by first laying the tire chain flat out on the ground to undue any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around our tire. Now at the 12:00 position, we can pick up the tire chain and drape it over the tire, making sure the hooks are facing outward. more

Pewag Snox Pro Snow Tire Chains Review - 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon

Today on our 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon, we'll be installing the Pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chain, part number PWSXP560. These are SAE Class S chains. We'll be installing these tire chains on tire size 225-55/17. Now since this vehicle is all-wheel drive, we'll be installing the tire chains on the back set of tires. We'll first begin our installation by grabbing the chain by the red bungee which goes around the back side of the tire. We'll pull the chain out, making sure it is on the outside, making sure that large plastic Pewag symbol is at the 12:00 position on the backside of the tire. We'll need to press in the red button here on this buckle which will release the silver piece from the locking mechanism. This will give us that extra slack when we're positioning the tire chain around the tire. more
