These are durable chains that have a ladder pattern helping with effective starts and stops. Our chains are going to be a low profile design helping to provide a smooth ride and they're also SAE class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance.These chains do work with front or rear wheel drive vehicles. We have it on the front today, since this is a front wheel drive. It also meets the Department of Transportation requirements in all 50 states.The Glacier tire chains come in a quantity of two with a reusable bag for storage. more

Keep in mind that this is being used with tire size 215/55R17. These tire chains are made out of a case hardened construction, made into square links for superior grip and traction. These are made out of a case hardened, low carbon steel, so they're strong and durable and they work with front or rear wheel tires. The chains have a ladder pattern, which will help with effective starts and stops. And they're FAE Class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. more
