Today on this 2013 Hyundai Sonata, we're going to install part number TC1038. This is Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains. Today on this vehicle, working with tire sizes P215 by 55 by R17. It's a good idea to lay out your chains to be familiar with them before you actually need to use them in the ice and snow, like we're doing here. First off, this side right here, always faces the ice and snow. Flip it over, even has a label that says, 'tire size'. OK. This little clip right here. This is on both sides of the chain. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2013 Hyundai Sonata- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, we'll be test fitting the Glacier cable snow tire chains, part number PW1038. We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 225/45/18. Now this vehicle is front wheel drive, so we'll be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. To begin our test fit, we'll lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. We'll now drape the tire chains over the tire, making sure that they are centered and the hooks of the tire chain are facing out, so you don't damage the outer wall of the tire. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Sonata we'll be test fitting a Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains for Passenger Vehicles, part number TH00204100. We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 225/45-18. Now this vehicle is front-wheel drive, so we'll be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. To begin our test fit, we'll first lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. Now, starting with the yellow end of the cable, we'll slide it back behind the tire, and bring up the two ends at the 12 o'clock position and hook them together. more

Now this vehicle is front wheel drive so we will be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. To begin our test fit, well lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. Well now drape the tire chains over the tire making sure that they are centered as well as the hooks facing outward so we dont damage to the outer wall of the tire. more
