Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2019 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Collin: Hey guys, it's Collin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2019 GMC Yukon XL, and we're going to go and do a test fit of the Titan Chain diagonal cable snow tire chains. Now, keep in mind the tire size on our Yukon today is 265/65R18. Now, these chains are going to be great for if you live in an area where you're getting moderate inclement weather, two, maybe three times a year, that lighter snow and ice that you might get.Any more than that, you're probably going to want to look into a more heavy duty set of chains. Instead of cable style, you probably want to look into a metal chain link style chain. One that comes to mind that is still the same brand as this is the Titan Chain alloy snow tire chains. Those are self-tensioning chains and they're metal D links, so they give you better traction through the thicker, snow and ice.But like I said, if you live in an area that you're not getting it a lot, but you'd like to have that extra traction for those situations, this is a really great and economical choice that's going to give you that extra traction. more

Keep in mind the tire size on this Yukon is going to be 265/65R18. Now these Twist Link snow tire chains are going to be a nice and handy tool to keep in your Yukon so if you experience any inclement weather situation, then you can be able to throw these on here, give you extra traction through that snow and ice so that you stay safe on the road.One cool thing about these tire chains is that they have cam tighteners all the way around the perimeter. There's four of these. These are just taking out the extra slack in our chain. I'll show you how to use them real quick. more

This just gives you some extra traction to make sure you can stay on the road safely.Now, the cable chains definitely have a purpose in a specific place you want to use them. Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at Etrailer and today we have a 2019 GMC Yukon XL. We're just going to go ahead and do a test fit of the Knig Standard Snow Tire Chains. Now the tire heads on our Yukon today is 265/65R18. Now these standard snow tire chains they're going to be really nice and basic set of self-tensioning snow tire chains, meaning that we don't have to invest in a set of rubber tensioners or anything like that to keep our chains snug on the tire. We have a built-in system right here. It's going to keep our chains really snug on our tire. more
