These are SAE Class S tire chains. We'll be installing these tire chains on tire size 235-50-17. This vehicle is primarily front wheel drive so we'll be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. Well begin our installation by placing the tire chain flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. We'll then need to drape the tire chains over the tire making sure the hooks are facing outward so that we don't damage the outer wall of the tire. Well then need to move to the inside of the tire where we'll connect the male and female end of the tire chain. more

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the Thule self-tensioning snow tire chains, part number TH00204102. We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 235/57/17. Now this vehicle is front wheel drive, so we'll be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chains will fit correctly around the tire. Now, starting with the yellow end of the cable, we'll slide it back behind the tire, and bring it up at the 12 o'clock position and hook the two ends together. more
