Glacier V-Trac Snow Tire Chains Review - 2016 Ford Focus

Today on our 2016 Ford Focus we're going to be test fitting the Glacier V-Trac Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1934V. The tire size we're working with today is going be 215/55R16. If these chains don't fit on your particular tire just double check the size and then go to our fit guide to get the correct fit. These cable snow tire chains are made from a case-hardened low carbon steel. The rollers are wrapped around sturdy wire cross cables which gives a good traction in both snow and ice and assists with easy stopping and starting. These are SAE Class S tire chains which means they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They work with both front and rear wheel drives and meet the Department of Transportation requirements in all states. Now before we install our chains onto our vehicle we want to make sure we lay them out to just to make sure there's no kinks or runs in the lines. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Focus, we're going to be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1034. Today we're working with tire size 215/55R16. If these chains don't work with your tires, double check the size and refer to our fit guide. These chains are made from case hardened low carbon steel, and they have these rollers around these wires here which makes it ideal for starting and stopping in snowing conditions. These chains meet all Department of Transportation requirements in all states, and these are SAE class S chains which means they work with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. It also comes with its own carrying case so once you're finished using them you can put them back in the case and have them in your vehicle ready for the next time. Before we put the chains onto the car we want to make sure we lay them out to make sure there's no kinks or anything like that in the lines. more

These chains we're made from case hard and low carbon steel, which will make them ideal for snowy and icy conditions. These are designed for highway use, so these are not to be used off road, and these are SAE class S chains, which means they work with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. These work on both front and rear wheel tires, and when everything is said and done and you don't need them anymore, this does come with a convenient carrying case, which you can place them inside and have them ready for the next time inside your vehicle. Today we're working with tire size 215/55 R 16. If these chains don't fit your tire, double check the size, and then go to our fit guide. Before we place our chain onto the tire, we're going to go ahead and lay it out flat on the ground here, and this is to make sure there are no kinks or runs in the lines. more

Titan Cable Snow Tire Chain Installation - 2016 Ford Focus

Today on our 2016 Ford Focus, we're going to be test-fitting the Tighten Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1034. These are low-carbon steel rollers that have a ladder pattern, which provides good traction in light snow. The ladder pattern also assists with effective starts and stops, and these are SAE class S chains, which are designed to work with vehicles with restricted wheel clearance. This includes two chains and has a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour. When everything is said and done, you can remove them and place them in a convenient carrying bag and put them back in your car, ready for the next time.
