I've installed each one of these tire chains that we have on our website on the F-150. It's hard to narrow it down to what's gonna be the best for you because everyone's case scenario is gonna be different. So let's check out each one of those scenarios now. If you find yourself going through some more extreme conditions, we found that the Pewag with square links and cams was our top choice because we are gonna have those really thick, sturdy square links that are gonna be excellent for biting through ice and snow. The first thing you wanna do with your chains is lay them out and make sure nothing's twisted up or tangled. These chains do have a habit of getting intermingled with each other in the bag and just getting tangled up. These ones look pretty good, and then we wanna make sure that these cross sections of the chain, they're gonna have a sort of smooth shaped hook, that smooth side face down and the more abrasive side up top away from the tire. more

These do have a habit of getting themselves twisted together in the bag and as well as these V-Bar style they sometimes get stuck in each other so it's good to have everything laid out nice and even before we start. Hi everyone. Aidan here, with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Konig XD 16 Pro Tire Chains on our 2022 Ford F-150. The first thing you wanna do with these chains once you get 'em out of the bag is lay 'em out and make sure nothing's tangled up. A lot of times when they're first out of the bag these have a tendency to be all tangled up in each other or with each other in the pair, but these ones are looking good right now and we wanna make sure our cable that's coded is towards the back and we have identified this opening in between the two sections of chain. This is where our tire's gonna sit. more
