Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test fitting the Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, part number TC1555. These are tough durable tire chains with a diamond pattern to them which gives them greater tire coverage. The small links on the tire chains also give good traction in the snow and excellent grip on icy conditions. These are made from a manganese nickel alloy. These are SAE class S chains which means they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. The maximum speed recommended while using these chains is 30 miles per hour. more

Today on this 2012 Dodge Gand Caravan we're going to be test-fitting the Titan Chain Diagonal Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC343DC. Today we're working with tire size 225-65-R17. If these chains don't fit your particular tire size, double-check the size of the tire, then go to our fit guide and find the proper fit. These low-carbon, steel alloy chains have these cross-chains here mixed with these rollers, which gives excellent traction in light snow and ice. They also have this V pattern, which will assist with stopping while you're making those slow turns. It also comes with an included tensioning strap to ensure that the chain itself is going to be nice and snug around your tire while you drive. These do meet all Department of Transportation requirements while you're on the road, and these are SAE Class S chains, which means they work really well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. more

Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan we're going to be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1042. These are case hardened low carbon steel chains. They come in the ladder patterned shape, which gives them excellent stopping and starting power when you're going through light snow or light ice. These meet all Department of Transportation requirements, and these are SAE Class S chains. Meaning they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. These do work with both rear and front wheel drives. They install quickly and easily, and once everything is finished they do come with a reusable tote bag, so when you're finished with them you can pack them back up, and have them ready for the next time. Today we're working with tire size 225/65 R17. more

We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 235/60R16. To begin our test fit we'll lay the tire chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. We just want to ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. We'll then drape the tire chains over the tire making sure that the hooks are facing outward so that we don't cause any damage to the tire. Once the tire chain is centered onto the tire we can move to the inside of the tire where we'll connect the male and female end of the tire chain. We'll then move to the outside of the tire where we will again connect the male and female end of the tire chain. The manufacturer does recommend a cable tensioner Part Number PW99 that well use in a pertagular 00:53 shape with the hooks facing out to add some extra security to our tire chain. That completes an assess fit of the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, Part Number PW1038 on tire size 235/60R16 on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. . more

Now this vehicle is front wheel drive, so we will be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. To begin our test fit, we'll lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chains fit correctly around the tire. We'll then drape the tire chains over the tire, making sure that they are centered. We'll make sure that the hooks of the tire chain are facing out, so that we don't cause any damage to the outer wall of our tire. more

We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 235/60R16. Now, this vehicle is front-wheel drive, so we'll be installing the tire chains on the front set of the tires. To begin our test fit, we'll have the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain fits correctly around the tire. Now, starting with the yellow end of the tire chain, we'll thread it to the back set of the tire and bring up the two ends of the tire chain and connect them together at the 12:00 position at the tire. more

To begin our test fit, we'll have the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain fits correctly around the tire. Now, starting with the yellow end of the tire chain from the rear to the front of the vehicle, we'll slide the tire chain back behind the tire. more
