We've tried a lot of different tire chains, and we've narrowed them down to three separate categories. And the first category is gonna be your heavy-duty chains, maybe if you're working outside a lot, you need to haul some stuff in some heavy-duty snow, we have chains for that. We got chains for in between, maybe you live in the area that gets a decent amount of snow and ice, you need something to get you through those occasions, we got one for that. And the ones just for emergency uses, maybe you don't plan on using it very often or you live in a state that requires them. more

Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Titan Chain Alloy, Snow Tire Chain on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. So we do have a nice diamond shaped pattern, which is going to give a lot of surface area when it is on your tire. It's going to give you a lot of traction to start and stop down on the road. Another thing I do have experience with other tire chains and a lot of them, you have to purchase tensioners to stretch throughout your whole entire chain, which Titan Chain included that right here. It's all included and it tightens up just as good as the other ones will. more

So this is a ladder pattern style chain, and it is made of a low carbon steel construction. So it will be very durable, and resistant against any type of rust or corrosion. We do have a twist link, which is going to stick out a little bit farther off your tire than your small squared links. It might make your ride a little bit rougher, but it's definitely going to get you through those tough situations. more

Hi, everybody. Today I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, and we're going to be doing a test fit on the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains. These tires are going to be 255 70 R17s. So this tire chain is going to be a carbon steel construction, and it is a V bar style tire chain. As you can tell, there's a little V shape right here. And one thing you do need to make sure is when there's not a whole lot of snow on the ground, you will be wearing these down a certain amount, a little bit more than normal. more

Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tensioners. Now, keep in mind the tire set we're working with today is 255/70 R17. These chains are built to give you traction through moderate to heavy snow and ice, and they're also going to hold up well to everyday use. The traditional ladder pattern is going to give you great traction through starts and stops, while the twisted links are going to be a lower profile while sitting on your tire, and give you a smoother ride, when you compare it to the standard square links.When working with a set of chains, keep in mind you are going to have some noise and some jarring while you're driving, but the twisted links are going to be much less noticeable, and cut down on that noise while we're driving. There are four of these cam tensioners around our chain, and they're there to take up the slack to give us a much tighter fit on our tire. These chains have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a pair of two with this nice canvas bag for easy storage.Now that we're gone over some of those features, let's show you how they install. more

Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TV2524. Now, the tire size we're gonna be working with today is 25570R17. These chains have a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern. That's gonna give you more coverage around your tire, giving you better traction through tough conditions. The square links are gonna dig into the snow and ice and give you that bite you need for starts, stops, and turns.What I really like about these chains is that they're very quick and easy to install thanks to our color coded connection points all around the chain. They're also self-tensioning, so we don't have to pick up an extra rubber adjuster to make sure our chains stay snug against our tire. more

Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install a Titan Chain Snow-Tire Chains, with Cam Tensioners, Part Number TC2828CAM. The tires that we're working with today is 25570R17.These heavy duty chains are going to do a great job of giving you traction through very tough conditions when you're experiencing that very thick impact snow and ice. Because of their v-bar design, that's where you're gonna get the traction from, but also if you're gonna come in contact with pavement I'd probably steer away from using these chains. As the v-bars could tear up any pavement that you come in contact with, so I would save these for the most extreme conditions or if you're off-roading.Here we got a closer look at the v-bars that they welded onto each link. These are gonna dig into very thick snow and ice, and give you the traction you need when you need to get going. We have four of these cam tensioners around the chain, these are there so you can take out the slack in your chain and provide a snug fit. more
