Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains, part number PWH2828SC, and that's tire size 265/65/R18. These Glacier snow tire chains feature V-Bar studs, so they're going to give you superior traction on snow and ice. They also feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be very effective for starts and stops. To start off, we're going to be putting tire chains on the rear tires of our Silverado because it is rear-wheel drive. I've gone ahead and laid out my chain. We want to make sure there's no kinks, twists, or any tangles in it. We'll also want to be sure that our hooks, the open side is facing up away from our tire, and the cams are in the open position just as you see them here. Now, let's drape it over our tire. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Glacier cable snow tire chains, part number PW2028C. Now, that's tire size 265 65R18. These Glacier cable snow tire chains feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be very effective during accelerating and braking. They also feature spring rollers on the cross cables, which are going to provide us with adequate tracking on light snow and ice. They're low profile, so they're going to provide you with a lot smoother ride than chains that have links. To start off, we're going got be putting tire chains on the rear tires of our Silverado, because it is rear wheel drive. To begin our test fit, I've gone ahead and laid out my chain. more
