Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Review - 2017 Chevrolet Equinox

Today, on our 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1555, and that's tire size 225/65R17. These Titan chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern, so they're going to provide you with more tire coverage, which means more traction. They have small, square links that are going to bite into the snow and ice, and since they're small, they're going to provide you with a much smoother ride than chains that have larger links. They're SAE class S chains, and they're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. Most chains require a rubber adjuster to help keep them tight around the tire. This chains' is built in. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a quantity of two. Now we'll show you how easy they are to install. We're going to be putting tire chains on the front tires of our Equinox, because it is mostly driven by the front axle. more
