Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2008 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2008 Acura MDX, we'll be doing a test fit on the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW2029C, and that's tire size 255/55-R18. These Glacier chains are great for the occasional use. They have a low-profile design, which is going to provide a smooth ride, and also provide adequate traction on ice. The spring rollers and the cross cables feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be great for effective start and stops. The integrated lever makes installation easy. They meet all the Department of Transportation requirements, they have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a quantity of 2. Today on our 2008 Acura MDX, we'll be doing a test fit on the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains. Part number PW1046, and that's going to be tire size 25555R18. These Glacier chains are SAE Class S chains and are designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. The low profile design is going to provide you with a smooth ride. The spring rollers and cross cables are going to give you added contraction in light snow and ice, and the ladder pattern is effected during start and stops. The connections make for a simple installation. They meet all of Department Transportation requirements. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 mph and they come in a quantity of two.
