Part number DZ43203.What the DeeZee tailgate assist system's going to do, it's going to help you with loading the vehicle with one hand. As you can see, the shock is going to prevent the tailgate from slamming open. All you're going to need is one kit for your tailgate. It's going to be a custom fit design. It's going to come with the necessary hardware and there's going to be no drilling required.Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's show you how to get it installed.First thing we need to do is on our nutsert we need to adjust the head of the bolt from the washer, 3/4 of an inch. more

Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2016 Ford F-250- Video
Today in our 2016 Ford F250, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series Fifth Wheel Louvered Tailgate with lock, part number VG-97-4000. The accessory kit 4000-V which is sold separately lets you also create a custom look by adding black and paintable steel louvers. Made of a super strong plastic, this tailgate features a cutout that makes it perfect for towing your fifth wheels or gooseneck trailers. The locking tailgate has built-in louvers that reduce the drag and mount securely on rotating latches with coated cables. The louvered design improves visibility, creates less drag and better fuel economy. First thing we're going to do is take off our factory tailgate. Hand drop it down. more

Husky Liners Tailgate Installation - 2016 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford F250 we'll be taking a look at the Husky Liners premium aluminum fifth wheel louvered tailgate with locking handle, part number HL15130. With our new Husky Liners tailgate in place it's going to provide convenient cut out, which allows for towing of fifth wheel and goosed egg trailers. The louvered tailgate is going to reduce drag and improve fuel economy. Has a light weight aluminum construction and it's going to be half the weight of the traditional steel tailgates. Has a handy factory style center latch that makes the tailgate easy to open. The handle has integrated a lock with two included keys. Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2016 Ford F-250 VG-97-100- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford F250, we are going to do a test fit on our Stromberg Carlson 100 Series Fifth Wheel Tailgate with open design for Ford trucks. Part number is VG-97-100. Of course this is the goal, so we can have that drop down that's going to allow our king pin box to go right up, we don't have to worry about lowering the tailgate or taking the tailgate off every time we want to get around town or move our trailer around. It has got a nice heavy-duty steel construction, got a black powder coat finish on it. It is going to stand up to the elements, weather and things like that to really keep it looking nice for a long time for us. It has been costumed designed so it is going to fit every curve of our truck here and give it a-- well not a factory appearance, but close to a factory fit anyway. The louvered design that we have here really helps to promote good air flow so we don't have any risks of decreasing our miles per gallon. You can see our really nice, clean lines all the way up and around, gives it a really nice appearance there. We are going to have a nice, open area here in our steel, that if we choose to we can go ahead and drill a hole in there and connect our factory safety cables, so our gate won't drop down past where we want it. Now first things first, we need to remove our existing factory tailgate. more
