But if you already have the solar panel and you're just wanting to have a way to connect it to the 12 volt battery, this is going to work to help charge up your GEL, AGM, calcium, flooded lead acid, lithium titanium oxide and lithium iron phosphate batteries. So, if you have any of those 12 volt battieres you're wanting to use your Boulder 200 solar panel to charge them up, this is gonna be a great kit for you. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Goal Zero 10 amp PWM Solar Charge Controller. Now, this 10 amp solar controller has the PWM technology, which stands for pulse-width modulation, and this will help regulate your solar panel output to provide consistent amperage to your batteries. Now, this is designed to work with the gel, the AGM, the calcium flooded, lead-acid, LTO, and even the lithium iron phosphate batteries. It will include everything I got here laid out on the table, it includes the solar charge controller, you can see the cord here which I've attached to it, it is a three foot long spade to eight millimeter cable, and this is what'll connect the controller to your solar panel, and it comes with this nice user's guide that'll describe how it operates and how you connect it. Now, to connect this and charge a battery, you must purchase a spade to SAE cable, which we sell separately on our website, it's part number GZ27MR, and it would connect right next to this one here to the spades, and then you run that to your battery. more

Now this is a 30 amp solar controller that uses MPPT technology to optimize your solar panel output to provide maximum amperage to your batteries. This will protect your battery from harmful overcharging and it uses automatic multi-stage charging to extend your battery life. Now we mentioned the MPPT technology, that stands for maximum power point tracking, and it's an advanced charging technology that will more efficiently harvest power from your solar panels in all conditions, which is a better one compared to the traditional PWM charger which will always run the solar array at a voltage close to the battery voltage. more

Now, this 30 amp PWM solar controller will regulate the solar output from your solar panels to safely charge your RV batteries. This one uses the PWM technology, which stands for pulse with modulation, and it'll regulate the panel output to provide a nice, consistent charge. This does protect your battery from overcharging, does use multi-stage charging, which switches modes as the battery charges to help extend the battery life. What's nice, if you noticed these two lights up front here, these indicator lights will monitor the battery and the controller status, and what's pretty handy is if you look on top of your regulator, they do have a guide here that'll indicate what those different lights mean when they light up. more

This is a 20-amp solar controller that's gonna act as basically, an intermediary between your solar panels and your 12-volt or 24-volt lead-acid batteries. This is going to monitor the power that's coming from your solar panels and adjust that output as it sends that on to your batteries to prevent your batteries from becoming overcharged, which is obviously harmful to your batteries. Depending on your system, this is gonna provide up to 30 volts for your 12-volt system and 50 volts for your 24-volt system. This does use a digital pulse with modulation technology that regulates the panel outputs to provide a nice, consistent charge for your batteries. more
