Now I know we do have skis up here now, but you can also use this for fishing rods too. And the way this is gonna work is we're gonna have these buttons, and I'm actually not a big fan of this design because it can be kinda hard to hit if you have those thicker gloves on, but if you kind of use just the side of your hand, you'll be able to open 'em up too. more

And this is really one that's a great option if you're trying to get your skis from point A to point B, because putting 'em on top of your roof is gonna be a much better option than trying to stuff them in the back where it's gonna be really cramped. The one we have today is gonna be the one that can carry up to four skis for two snowboards. The other size is gonna be a two ski, a three ski, and a six ski, but they're all gonna work the same way. Now this is a really nice option for carrying your skis from point A to point B. Especially since in this Sorento, yeah, you do have a little bit more space to put them back there, but it's definitely not gonna be a comfortable fit. more

So this style of carrier, a lot of people like because it's gonna be a lot smaller and less expensive than something like a rooftop box. Sure, your skis and snowboards will not be enclosed like they would be with a box, but let's say the place you're going has a parking garage, you're not adding near as much height to your vehicle. So for those low clearance situations, you don't have to worry about it as much, and it's a lot easier to just keep in storage in the off season because this can go on a shelf in your garage much easier than a large 16 cubic foot box. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Grip Skiing Snowboard Carrier, and seeing how it fits on the roof of our 2024 Subaru Outback. Now it's important to note that we are using the factory roof rack on the Outback and that's great because it already comes with your vehicle. You might as well utilize it, and with how close it sits to the roof, you just wanna know right away that it's gonna work. These thinner factory bars don't always work the best with certain rooftop accessories, but this one is great because the bands are thin and low profile, and adjustable so they can get nice and snug on there, and you don't have to worry about it shifting around on your roof. The other benefit to this style of carrier for your skis and snowboards is that it's much more low profile, and generally is going to be less expensive than something like a rooftop box, which a lot of people like for skis, and snowboards. more

It does come in a couple different sizes. We do have the six, three, and two ski carriers. The only difference with those is just the overall length and how many skis they can carry. more

Now the one we have today is gonna be the three ski for fat skis and two snowboard carrier, but it also comes in a couple of different size and it's gonna be able to accommodate up to six skis. Now a ski care is gonna be a great option, especially for the Rogue because we only have a limited space in the back and even if you can get your skis to fit back here, you probably don't want your wet, snowy, icy skis inside your vehicle. Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we have the Malone LiftLine Compact Ski, and Snowboard, and Fishing Rod Kit. This is gonna be a compact and affordable way to get your skis, snowboards, and fishing rods from point A to point B. This has some different features to it and we're gonna get into those, as well as how to install it on your roof right here etrailer.com. I've worked with a good amount of ski and snowboard carriers, and the general concept of how they clamp down onto those skis, and snowboards, and fishing rods is pretty much the same. Now this does have some extra design features to it though, and things like how the universal clamps work, as well as how it has two different options for clamping included, and you don't need to get separate hardware. We'll talk about those features, especially with how you carry this rack, later on in this video. more
