Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System using the Thule AeroBlade Load Bars 53 Inches, part number tharb53 and the Thule Rapid Cross Road Roof Mounted Railing Foot Pack, part number th450r.With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions we'll begin by placing the front part of our roof rack onto the front part of our roof. We'll fit it onto the factory raised side rails to ensure that we have the foot packs in the correct position. There's an arrow indicator on the foot pack that needs to be in line with the center of the raised side rail.We'll measure from a fixed point on the side rail back to the foot pack to make sure that our foot packs line up with each other. We'll take the cap off the foot pack, make sure the rubber-coated steel strap is around our side rail and fit it back into the foot pack. We'll then use the Allen key that's attached to the cap to tighten our strap.We'll do this for both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle. With our straps tight we can then reinstall the Allen key and black cap. more
