Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Kia Sorento

Today, on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we will be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System using part numbers tharb53 and th450r. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we will begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front part of our roof. To make sure our bars stay straight across from each other, we'll find a fixed point on the side rail and use that for our foot location. We can bring the rubber coated strap around the underside of our rail and fit it back into the foot pack. We'll use the included tool to tighten the Allen bolt and secure our straps around our side rails. We'll move from the passenger's side to the driver's side to evenly secure it. We'll grab our rear bar, place it under the rear part of our roof. Thule recommends that we have a minimum load bar spread of 24 inches. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we will be test fitting the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack using part numbers, THLB50 and TH450. With our roof rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing our front bar into the front portion of our roof rack. Then, to be sure our feet are even, we'll want to find a fixed point on our side rails to use as a guide. In this case, there's a seam where the side rail meets the foot. We will place the leading edge of our foot pack on this seam. We will now bring our rubber-coated strap around our rail, placing into the appropriate slot of our foot pack. Do this on the other side as well. more
